As the name suggests, Blazer Brass ammo by CCI differs from standard Blazer ammo in its use of reloadable brass cases. This 9mm Luger version comes in a bulk 1000 round case great for target shooting! Each cartridge in this case fires a 115 grain bullet that is copper plated. In addition to being relatively inexpensive, the plating provides total encapsulation of the lead core, resulting in reduced airborne lead exposure risk. This makes Blazer Brass rounds great for indoor shooting. The downside of plated bullets is that they tend to shear when fired in guns with ported barrels. All in all, this ammo is great for target shooting with the vast majority of firearms save for a few specialized competition pistols. Blazer Brass ammo is loaded with CCI's famously reliable non-corrosive Boxer primers in Lewiston, Idaho.
